We aim to process orders within [1–3 business days], excluding weekends and public holidays. During busy periods, promotions, or stock shortages, processing may take slightly longer.

2. Delivery Areas

Aptec currently delivers within Botswana, including but not limited to:

  • Gaborone
  • Francistown
  • Maun
  • Palapye
  • Kasane
  • Selebi-Phikwe
  • Other major towns, depending on courier availability

For remote areas, delivery may take longer or may require collection from the nearest courier branch.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are:

  • Gaborone: 1–3 business days
  • Major towns in Botswana: 2–5 business days
  • Remote areas: 5–10 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, public holidays, incorrect delivery information, stock availability, or circumstances outside Aptec’s control.

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location, order size, and delivery method.

Aptec may offer free delivery promotions from time to time. Any free delivery offer will apply only under the stated terms of that promotion.

5. Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Delivery address
  • Town/city
  • Any helpful delivery instructions

Aptec will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated customer information.

6. Receiving Your Order

When receiving your order, please inspect the package before accepting it where possible. If the package appears damaged, opened, or tampered with, please report this to us immediately.

You may be required to sign for delivery or confirm receipt by SMS, WhatsApp, or courier confirmation.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts

If a courier is unable to deliver because the customer is unavailable, unreachable, or provided incorrect delivery details, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the order to Aptec.

Additional delivery fees may apply for redelivery.

8. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Orders

If your order is delayed, lost, damaged, or not received within the estimated delivery period, please contact us as soon as possible at:

9. Consumer Rights Under Botswana Law

Aptec aims to comply with applicable consumer protection requirements in Botswana. Botswana’s Consumer Protection Act protects consumers against unfair business practices and unfair or unreasonable contract terms. It also requires suppliers to make consumers aware of important terms and conditions before they agree to them.

Where goods are defective or fail to meet required quality standards, consumers in Botswana may have the right to repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Protection Act. The Competition and Consumer Authority states that consumers may return goods within six months if the goods fail to satisfy quality requirements and standards.

For online transactions, Botswana’s Electronic Communications and Transactions Act supports consumer protection in e-commerce and requires suppliers to provide adequate information to consumers when trading electronically.

10. Customs, Duties, and International Shipping

At this time, Aptec primarily ships within Botswana. If international shipping is offered, customers may be responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, import fees, or clearance charges in their country.
